Made this on Saturday, I'm not usually into the "serious" stuff I prefer the "fun" stuff, but sometimes you gotta do something different.

So sad the weekend is over

I just love to piddle, I was home all weekend (except for the short trip to Costco to pick up some pictures) and I loved it! I managed to get so much done, feels so good. I need to do soooo many things still to get ready for Christmas and I didn't do a single Christmas chore this weekend! All well, there's always tomorrow. I did mange to get the laundry completely caught up - a pretty decent accomplishment for me.....maybe 12 loads?!

So I read the story to my son and he is so into it. He wakes in the morning and "Elfy" is the first thing on his mind....where's the elf mom? The elf will sit in a different spot when it returns back to your home after reporting to Santa durning the night. We have found Elfy in a few different spots so far. My son loves this little guy!

So today I played with the cricut.....

and made something for my wall in the living room.

I'm having one of those working mom days

You know the ones.....when you feel like the best thing for you and your family is to be at home, but you have a full time job and you have to go to work. I hate those feelings and try really hard to think of something happy so I don't have to paddle around in the sea of guilt. It's Tuesday and today was much like yesterday when I really felt I should be at home parenting my child instead of paying someone to do it for me. I wish I could work part-time, the would be the best of both worlds. Maybe I just need a vacation to be at home.....I think that's what it is. I'm on vacation very soon for two wonderful weeks.....sooooo looking forward to it!

I cleaned my room!

Boy was it a mess! My table had mountains of stuff on it, it's a no wonder I couldn't find my scissors!!

I did scrapbook my wedding album quite some time ago, actually it was the second album I ever created. I think I'm going to pull out some more pictures of that day in July and do a few more just because I've changed so much (so has scrapbooking actually) and I think it will be fun!!

I finally received my Karen Foster advent calendars, very cute things, a little small than what I thought they were going to be but otherwise really good quality. Plain white then you decorate them, this is what I did....one for my son (green sides) and the other for my daughter (rose sides)
