Her hair

It's an amazing colour, very similar to my sister April and my dear cousin Beverly. I wish I had it. I think it's grown four inches since this picture, I'm going to post another one tomorrow of the back to show all the wonderful colours and curls...hey! I think I just thought of a page title!

My boy doesn't walk...he skips!

I love it! He doesn't run or walk he actually skips...from one end of the room to another. This was at the water park in Niagara Falls last month, skipping through the sprays of water.....

Things just jump out at me.....

I went shopping looking for something to hold DVD's in. Found something that works for me, thank goodness as we have quite the mess near the tv, but things jump out out at me and follow me home.....like this......itsn't it sooooo cute!!

My sister made these adorable cupcakes for Olivia's family birthday party...sooo sweet.

Ribbon Embellies

I made this ribbon embellishment with stickers and a couple of circles. The ribbons are cut in two inch strips and stuck down on the circle. You have to plan out your message and line up all your pieces before you stick them down. It's a cute way to make your own personalized embellishment.

A fix up in the blog

I'm just so excited to have this wonderful blog!!! Elisabeth at ACBailey has so generously helped me with the header (had the white part in the background) and I could not figure that out in pse. She was soooo kind to help me out. Thank you Elisabeth !!!

To be six again.....

So I'm having cuddle time with my boy before he goes to bed and we had a really good conversation...it went like this....

Josh "When I get bigger I don't think I'm going to work at a job like you do"
Mom "Oh? Why not?"
Josh "Because I won't have time to work"
Mom "Oh? Why won't you have time? What are you going to do?"
Josh "I'm gonna be a rock star and I just won't have enough time to work"

I think I need to somehow scrapbook this....I love these sorts of conversations.
