Those blue eyes.....

Gosh how they looked so blue at dusk tonight. She wanted to play on the slip and slide tonight and I tried to distract her with a bike ride but it didn't work. She sat on the big rock and pouted, then she said she was going to sit there until daddy came home to turn the hose on for her. That broke my heart because I don't know when daddy is coming home.

He went into the hospital last Tuesday with a serious internal infection and has been on intervenes antibiotics ever since. Slow but sure he is coming along. We will see what the first of the week brings.

So I turned on the hose for her. We have hot and cold water in the garage so she enjoyed the luke-warm water on her slide tonight....not too long though, need that hot water for the washer.

And the tree comes down.....

So sad to see this beautiful tree come down. It was in the front of mum and dad's house and it lost a limb, they came to fix it up and before you knew it they cut the thing down....Josh cried, twice!

The kids really enjoyed playing on it though....here is a pic of all of them on it, it's rare to get such a picture of all five of them together looking at the camera and one or two not crying!

New paper lines!

So many new ones! And so pretty! This is one I made with BoBunny Petal Pushers, I went back and bought a few more sheets of it.

Busy weekend ahead, lots of socializing, eating and drinking.....it's a good life. Friends on Saturday and family on Sunday for Father's Day. Looking forward to seeing the reaction of everyone with Josh's new hair cut..hehe....I'll post pictures later.

This weekends haul.....

Had a really fun crop at Life Preservers this weekend and I managed to complete a few layouts and the others I want to do are written down so I can do them another time. I'm a slow scrapper.

Nice weekend, hubby was at his high school reunion for most of the weekend and it was me and the three kids! Josh had a friend over for most of Saturday, sometimes it's easier to have more than less....kids I mean.

Was reading Tim Holtz blog and am so jealous I could not attend this class today at Buffalo Stamps, so close but just couldn't do it.....next time.

My scrap room is a complete mess again, and I'm pretty sure I sold my soul to the devil that I would not let that happen again......I'm so brutal. I need more shelving, my inks and mists are growing like metal clothes hangers. I'm just not sure where to put it I don't have much room or wall space left....maybe I need to move a wall....

Sorry about the bad weather.....

I can explain all the yucky weather we have been having for the last week.....it's simple....we opened our pool. Before we opened it the weather was sooo nice and warm, really warm, swimming warm....and now it's cold, we needed a jacket today - yuck.

Here's hoping we will dry out a bit and be able to enjoy more outdoor activities. This is Josh and dad playing in the pool early last week.

Melissa Frances

She was at CKC Buffalo and is so friendly and easy to talk to, I enjoyed chatting while creating my make and take she had at her booth. I should post that too....gotta take a pic still. I think I have her entire collection now.....this is what I purchased this trip.

CKC was good, I had 4 classes this year and they were really good ones, but I don't think I will take "The latest and greatest with basic grey" again. I had to see what the hype was all about after this class being sold out so quickly in the past. I'm not head over heals with BG, I like it but I pick and choose a few things from ONE of their lines each CHA release.

Been doing a lot of creating lately, lots of mojo and yummy stuff to play with so I go with the flo!
